CLIMATE
Like the other Caribbean islands, Tobago has a tropical climate and is warm all year-round. Tobago has a dry season between December and May and the wet season is generally between June and November. The average daytime temperature is 29°C/84°F, and trade winds blow consistently, cooling the island.
The early months of the year are dry and sunny before hitting rainy season in June when we can see downpours, which mainly occur overnight. This rainfall keeps Tobago lush and green throughout the hot weather.
Tobago is also outside the main hurricane belt and has fewer storms that some of the more northerly islands.
